A Long Island teenager is wanted by police following a menacing incident last year.
Yoni Pineda, 18, was arrested by Nassau County Police detectives last year and charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon. He later failed to appear at court proceedings to respond to the charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest by Nassau County Court.
The teen was described by Nassau County Police as being 5-foot-1 weighing approximately 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts has been advised not to take any police measures and to alert authorities.
Anyone with information regarding Pineda’s whereabouts, or who recognizes him, has been asked to contact the Nassau County Police Department by calling 911 or detectives in Mineola at (516) 573-7524.
