An alert has been issued for a former security guard at a Long Island mall who was arrested after leaving his son in a hot car while he went to work and is now wanted.

Kaliym Rodriguez is wanted by Nassau County Police and the Nassau County Court on charges of third-degree assault and for violating the conditions of his probation.

Rodriguez, 27, who worked at Macy’s inside the Roosevelt Field Mall in East Garden Ctiy was arrested last summer after he left his 2-year-old son alone in a parked car, police said. An alert warning of the warrant issued for his arrest was released this week.

Investigators described Rodriguez as a 5-foot-6 African American weighing approximately 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who comes into contact with him has been cautioned by police not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.

Anyone with information regarding Simspon’s whereabouts, or who recognizes him has been asked to call 911 or contact the Nassau County Police Department by calling (516) 573-7524.
