A Long Island man is facing multiple charges after police say he spied on a female neighbor from bushes more than a dozen times.

Michael Drummond, 46, hid in the bushes in the rear of a 46-year-old female neighbor’s Levittown residence and recorded her through her window, according to Nassau County Police Department detectives.

These incidents occurred approximately 15 times since September of 2019, police said. Drummond was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident, according to police.

Drummond was charged with:

  • second-degree unlawful surveillance,
  • fourth-degree stalking,
  • and first-degree harassment.

Drummond was arrested for unlawful surveillance that occurred on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 p.m., police said.

He will be arraigned on Sunday, Feb. 23 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Detectives request anyone that feels they may have been victim of a similar crime contact their local precinct or call 911.
