Police investigators in Suffolk County are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a trio of suspects accused of using stolen credit cards in Smithtown and Islandia last month.

A purse with credit cards inside was stolen at approximately 3 p.m. from a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was parked at Kart Indoor Raceway on Union Parkway in Ronkonkoma on May 12.

Shortly after the purse was stolen, a woman used one of the stolen credit cards at Walgreens on Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown, police said. Later, a man used one of the stolen cards at Walgreens on Vets Highway in Islandia.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects, and a $5,000 reward has been issued by the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and the message to 274637.
