Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a wanted man who allegedly stole cash from a Huntington Station gas station.

Police said the suspect - who was sporting a hat and had a mustache at the time of the robbery - stole $450 from a cash register at the BP gas station located on Walt Whitman Road at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Investigators noted that the suspect has tattoos on the upper part of both of his arms.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or who recognizes the suspects has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” and the message to 274637.
