Hit-Run Suspect On Loose After Pedestrian Seriously Injured In North Bellport Crash

Am alleged hit-and-run driver is on the loose after seriously injuring a pedestrian in a North Bellport crash.

The pedestrian was struck on Atlantic Avenue at Doane Avenue on Thursday, June 27 at 11:30 p.m. by a silver or gray sedan driven by a black man wearing a white shirt, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The vehicle should have front-end damage, police said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, according to police.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
