A garbage truck knocked a Long Island house off its foundation after the driver lost control of it and slammed into another vehicle and then the house.
The incident took place around 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, on Bethel Road in Albertson, said the Nassau County Police.
The driver of the truck, who reportedly bailed out of the vehicle before it crashed, received minor injuries, police said.
It was not clear if the vehicle hit was parked or driving by, police said they have reports of only the driver being injured.
Police said the crash knocked down power lines in the area causing outages to several residences in the area.
PSE&G arrived at the scene to disable gas lines in the event of any ruptures.
The crash is under investigation.
