Four Injured, One Seriously, As Car Overturns In Two-Vehicle Holbrook Crash

Four people were injured, one seriously, in an overnight crash in Suffolk County.

Rose Dresher was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla northbound on Nicolls Road, near Patchogue-Holbrook Road, when her vehicle struck a northbound 2001 Toyota Camry driven by Manuel Cepeda at approximately 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, Suffolk County Police said.

The crash caused the Camry to completely overturn., according to police.

A 56-year-old Coram man, a front-seat passenger in the Camry, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. 

Dresher, 22, of Centereach, Cepeda, 57, of Port Jefferson Station, and a 28-year-old Holbrook man, a backseat passenger in the Camry, were transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
