Duo Accused Of Stealing $2.8K Worth Of Tools, Damaging Vehicle In Ronkonkoma

Two suspects have been accused of stealing about $2,800 in power tools and damaging a vehicle in Ronkonkoma, police say.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives say that two people broke into two vehicles parked in an Ocean Avenue parking lot in Ronkonkoma on Dec. 27, 2018 around 4 a.m.

The stolen tools are reportedly valued at $2,800, and the subjects allegedly caused about $500 in damages to the vehicles.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information that leads to an arrest. Those who have any information regarding these incidents is urged to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
