A Suffolk County Sheriff’s deputy stopped Lake Ronkonkoma resident Stephen Pilotte, 40, shortly after 11 a.m. on North Ocean Avenue in Medford when he committed a vehicle and traffic violation.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, during the subsequent stop, a DMV computer check determined that Pilotte’s driver’s license was suspended 14 times, the last for failure to answer a summons in Nassau County.

Pilotte was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated operation of a motor vehicle. He was released following his processing and is scheduled to respond to the charge in court at a later date.
