An alert has been issued for 30-year-old Symera Chandler, who is wanted by the Nassau County Court and Police Department after being arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Chandler was later released following her arraignment, failed to show up for court proceedings.
A warrant was then issued for her arrest by the court.
Investigators described Chandler as being approximately 5-foot-7 weighing 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding Chandler's whereabouts, or who recognizes her, has been asked to call 911 or contact the Nassau County Police Department by calling (516) 573-7524.
