Have you seen him?

The Nassau County Police Department has issued an alert for a suspect who allegedly violated the terms of his court-ordered probation and is now wanted.

Waqas Arshad, 26, is wanted by police in Nassau County on a violation of probation charge after he allegedly violated the court-ordered conditions. Arshad was released following his arrest and later failed to appear for court proceedings, leading to a bench warrant for his arrest.

Police describe Arshad as a 5-foot-11 Asian man weighing approximately 162 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators noted that anyone who recognizes Arshad or who spots him should not attempt to apprehend or detain him.

Anyone with information regarding Arshad's whereabouts has been asked to contact investigators at the Nassau Police Department by calling (516) 573-7524 or 911.
