Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a man wanted for an alleged rape.
The Nassau County Police Department issued an alert for a man who is wanted in connection to an alleged rape that happened in Atlantic Beach at approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Police said that the suspect entered a residence on Oswego Beach and raped a woman.
Investigators described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s who was wearing a “Nirvana” t-shirt at the time of the alleged attack.
Anyone who has information regarding the incident has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest.
