3-Year-Old Girl Found Unresponsive In Swimming Pool At Lindenhurst Home, Police Say

Police are investigating after a 3-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a Long Island residence.

Officers responded to the home in Lindenhurst, located at 341 North Broadway, after a 911 call reporting a child was unresponsive in the home’s swimming pool, Suffolk County Police said.

The girl, Avery Wilcox, was transported via ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in critical condition.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
