ID Released After Motorist Dies From Injuries In Deer Park Crash

It happened at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 in Deer Park.

The man, identified as Sheldon Singh of Deer Park, was driving a 2011 BMW sedan eastbound on Liberty Street east of Deer Park Avenue when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree, Suffolk County Police said.

Singh was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries, said police. His death was announced early Tuesday afternoon.
