A 45-year-old man drove off in his sports utility vehicle and hasn't been seen since, and authorities are asking the public for help in locating him.

Thomas Kelsey, 45, of Barbara Drive in Centereach, went missing on Sunday, July 7 at 10 p.m. at Venetian Shores Park, 850 Venetian Blvd. in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County Police said.

Kelsey was reportedly driving his red 2015 GMC Yukon, with New York State license plate EYE 9312. (See the second image above.) He may have been wearing brown shoes, plaid shorts, and a T-shirt, according to police.

Kelsey was reported missing to police by an acquaintance on Tuesday, July 9 at approximately 1:30 a.m., detectives said.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or 911.
