Alert Issued For Missing Southampton Man

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Southampton man who may be in need of medical attention. Robert Clinton, 59, was last seen at New York State Operated Community Residence (SORC) Water Mill at 1272 Montauk Highway.

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Southampton man who may be in need of medical attention.

Robert Clinton, 59, was last seen at State Operated Community Residence house, located at 1272 Montauk Highway in Watermill on Monday, June 17 at approximately 3 p.m., said police.

Clinton is described as being 5-foot-9, 260 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Clinton’s location to call the Southampton Town Police at 631-728-5000 or 911.

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
