30-Year-Old Woman Killed In Suspected DWI Farmingville Crash

A 30-year-old woman has died following an apparent drunk driving crash on Long Island.

Suffolk County Police were called at around 2:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, with reports of a car crash in Farmingville, near Blue Point Road and Clearview Avenue.

Investigators determined that Anthony Milano, age 31, of Farmingville, had been driving westbound on Clearview Avenue when he struck a parked van before hitting a tree. 

The van was unoccupied at the time, police said.

The impact killed Paige Swiecicki, age 30, of East Patchogue, who had been sitting in a backseat, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The front passenger, identified as 30-year-old Scott Johnson, of Selden, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Milano was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and will be arraigned on DWI charges once he’s released.
