The store opened on Friday, Sept. 6 at Roosevelt Field in Garden City highlighted by a visit from Victoria Arlen for the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The gold medalist Paralympic swimmer, former world record holder, ESPN TV host, and motivational speaker, is the company's brand ambassador.

The 1,700 sq. foot store carries men’s and women’s undergarments, activewear, sleepwear and loungewear catering to the modern New Yorker’s active lifestyle, including the popular underwear bar, with mix-and-match styles for both men and women.

It has an embroidery station where customers can have purchased product embroidered on the spot.

The product offering will be highlighted by the new Jockey x Victoria Arlen collection.

Arlen collaborated with Jockey designers to create a playful and bright athleisure collection that centers around Arlen’s personal style and positive attitude, said a company spokesperson, according to a Jockey spokesperson.

The central theme of the collection is donuts – a favorite of Arlen’s! – with a message encouraging people to turn their struggles into sprinkles.

“As a company, we have been eager to launch our first pop-up store and (Roosevelt Field" provides us the flexibility to showcase Jockey products in an exciting and engaging way,” said Melissa Latham, Jockey’s Vice President of North American retail division.

Founded in 1876 Jockey International, Inc. is a privately held company with headquarters in Kenosha, Wis.

The new store is located on the mall's main level near Dick's Sporting Goods.
