Located in the heart of Bay Shore, ITA, short for Italian American, provides a fine Italian dining experience with a more casual environment. The 2,300 square-foot eatery serves classic Italian specialties with a new age twist.

On the menu, you’ll find lunch and dinner options like calamari, pesto risotto balls, veal chops, quinoa bowls and more. Pasta options are also plentiful; choose from classics like the burrata ravioli with basil pesto and heirloom tomato or the one-of-a-kind “Zinguini” with shredded zucchini, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, asparagus, corn, heirloom tomatoes, mushrooms and toasted almonds.

Savory side selections include broccoli rabe, Italian street corn and homemade “softball-sized” meatballs made with a blend of pork, veal and prime NY strip steak.

Despite its recent opening, ITA Kitchen is off to a running start, garnering a 4.5/5-star rating on Yelp and a flawless 5/5 stars on Facebook. From the modern yet casual atmosphere to the range of freshly cooked menu items, guests have virtually nothing but positive feedback to provide.

“Food was great. Prices were reasonable as well as portions. Place is very cool and really well-executed ambiance. Staff was super friendly and accommodating...The only problem we had was the food was so good we are now craving it all the time!” writes Paul G. in a Dec. 15 Facebook review.

ITA Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week. For more information, visit the website.
