Bistro 25 is casual, cheery and elegant and offers something for everyone, the owner said.
It attracts locals and tourists to and from the Fire Island Ferries and they are dog-friendly on the patio where a water bowl is provided.
"We have an eclectic style, so you can come in at 3 in the afternoon and sit at a high top at the bar or outside on the patio or on a Friday or Saturday night to enjoy live music. You can order a drink and something from the raw bar or small plates menu or enjoy a full Saturday night dinner," said Turner.
Another inviting offering here is a combined lunch-brunch dining option. The meals are served simultaneously six days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The combination menu allows one member of a party to enjoy a standard brunch item such as Croque Madame or Omelet du jour and another a more robust lunch choice such as Vegetable Risotto, Chicken Pot Pot Pie or Buttermilk Fried Chicken.
A varied main menu at Bistro 25 includes Truffled Macaroni and Cheese, a steak sandwich and entree of braised short ribs of varied small plates and such entrees as Grilled Shrimp Tacos, Lobster Roll, Chicken Pot Pie, and Seafood Paella. There are also salads, fresh pasta dishes, steaks, and chops.
A Yelp reviewer Mike S. of Patchogue posted that it's a "fun local place with daily specials and, either fun nights or, bands scheduled. Great burgers, wings and, all of the staff is super accommodating."
Joe Rappa, a "local guide" on Google said in a review, "Exceptional food and service. The entire crew was so generous and accommodating to our family and our needs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a high-quality experience in a beautiful setting."
