The Deer Park location on Commack Road will close by the middle of January, a company spokesperson announced. When it closes its doors, there will be 50 Dollar Tree stores remaining on Long Island, with at least two more scheduled to open later this year.
The closure comes just four years after the 13,000-square-foot store originally opened in the busy shopping center.
According to a Dollar Tree spokesperson “we occasionally close stores for a variety of reasons, including the sale of the property, end of a lease term, etc.,” in a statement.
