Anthony Chen, a restaurateur who has previously run locations in upstate New York, has officially taken over the Suffolk County Sichuan hotspot in Commack as of this week. He previously also ran Samurai Hibachi in Huntington.
The restaurant previously changed hands two years ago.
Spicy Home Tasty took to Facebook to announced that the restaurant was changing hands as of Monday, Jan. 27, as the previous owners take a step back due to familial concerns.
According to the restaurant’s website, “Spicy Home Tasty provides comfort, elegant and a modern dining environment.
The restaurant specializes in authentic Sichuan, also known as ‘Szechuan' cuisine. Sichuan cuisine is one of four major Chinese cuisines originated from Sichuan, China.
Famous for its chili hot, spicy, savory, and flavorful; It holds a reputation for its variety of seasonings used, as each dish requires different cooking methods.
