DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dutchess will get soaked with two separate storms that will bring heavy rain to the county Tuesday and then again on Thursday.
A Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service is now in effect for Dutchess from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Low clouds and rain will cause poor visibility for motorists, according to AccuWeather.com. Those planning on traveling should anticipate slow travel and delays on the ground and in the air, including during the Tuesday morning commute.
Heavy rain and possibly a thunderstorm will be accompanied by patchy fog Tuesday with the high temperature in the upper-50s.
Rain will taper to showers Tuesday night before ending late in the evening.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high in the low-60s.
The second storm is expected to bring more heavy rain Thursday.
