EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. - Daily Voice visited with John Jay High School's Bonnie King recently, as part of our ongoing spotlight series on area high school principals and administrators.
In talking to John Jay High Principal Bonnie King, one thing quickly becomes apparent: she has a passion for her work, for the students she oversees, and is always looking for ways to make things better.
King grew up in Center Moriches, L.I., where she attended high school, before heading to Ithaca College, majoring in arts and administration. Graduate work followed at NYU, and King has been working with the district since 1999, and has held her current spot at John Jay since 2006.
Watch the video to see an interview with King about policies at John Jay, changes for this year, what she loves about her job, and more.
