Victor, Retired East Fishkill Police Dog, Dies

EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- The East Fishkill Police Department announces the passing of retired K-9 Victor. 

Victor served the department for 10 years.

Victor served the Police Department and Town of East Fishkill residents for 10 years, from 2003 until his retirement in January of 2013. 

He was 15 years old and served out his retired years with his handler, Police Officer Ralph Bertoldi. 

Victor continued to be a visible presence around town and many children liked him. 

The Fishkill Police Department sent condolences to Bertoldi and his family.
