Vandals Damage Railroad Equipment In Dutchess, Police Say

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -  The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Rhinebeck is investigating criminal mischief to railroad equipment on the Amtrak Railroad tracks, located in Tivoli.

Between July 14 and July 16, multiple pieces of train track maintenance equipment were damaged and graffiti was discovered on some equipment.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Investigator Strassberger by calling (845) 876-4049 or (845) 677-7300.
