DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y.  -- A stretch of Haight Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie was closed Monday afternoon due to a serious motor-vehicle crash.

The closure, reported around 3:15 p.m., occurred near Raymond Avenue.
