The Saw Mill River Parkway reopened northbound in Bedford Hills early Thursday night following an investigation of more than six hours following a fatal, single-vehicle crash that occurred before noon.
The northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near the Bedford Hills-Mount Kisco border is expected to be closed through the evening commute Thursday, Jan. 18 as the investigation continues following a fatal, single-vehicle crash that occurred just before noon.
A fatal crash has resulted in the closure of a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway on Thursday afternoon in Northern Westchester.
The closure is on the northbound side between Kisco Avenue (Exit 37) in Mount Kisco and Route 117 (Exit 39) in Bedford Hills and occurred just before noon when a car crashed off the road and into a tree.
An accident investigation is underway.
