Police are asking nearby residents to watch for unusual activity in the area. A fire Tuesday at 36 High St. was the latest in a series of four fires since late in September, Time Warner Cable reports.

Though authorities haven't determined the cause of the fires, the incidents are considered suspicious because the buildings are vacant and the cause isn't immediately evident, Time Warner Cable News says.
