Long Island Man Nabbed For Numerous Car Thefts, Larcenies, Police Say

A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing two vehicles as well as being responsible for multiple larcenies from autos on Long Island.

Nassau County Police said the incidents took place from March to May in Garden City.

According to detectives, a thorough investigation involving video surveillance identified Michael Daddario, of New Hyde Park, as the person responsible for the theft of two motor vehicles and multiple larcenies from autos at several locations throughout Garden City. 

Detectives said Daddario removed money and credit cards from multiple autos and was responsible for two stolen vehicles in March and May.

Daddario was located by detectives and placed under arrest on Wednesday, May 20.

He was charged with:

  • Three counts of grand larceny
  • Three counts of petit larceny
  • Grand larceny, third-degree
  • Criminal possession of stolen property
  • Identity theft

 Daddario will be arraigned on Thursday, May 21, in Mineola.
