DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ulster police have arrested a 32-year-old Dutchess County resident of Stanford on a larceny charge.
The arrest stemmed from a shoplifting complaint from the Walmart Superstore at 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd., police report.
Walmart Asset Protection alleged that the suspect, identified as Ryan M. Howard, left the store without paying for $216.62 worth of merchandise, according to officials.
Howard was arrested on Saturday, March 19, at 2:49 p.m., police report.
He was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Justice Court, according to officials.
