Under a plea deal, Brian William Wolfe, 32, pleaded guilty to felony first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, said Kristine Whelan, chief of the district attorney's Special Victims Bureau.

Wolfe will be sentenced Sept. 25, until then, he is being held at the Dutchess County Jail.  He will also receive a yet to be announced post-release supervision and will have to register as a sex offender, Whelan said.

"I'm pleased the offender is being held accountable for his crimes by pleading guilty and avoiding the young child from being re-victimized by having to testify in court," Whelan said.

He was arrested in December following an investigation by the Beacon Police Department.
