A Beacon man has been arrested for the armed robbery of a Fishkill gas station following a three-month search, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
Eric R. Johnson, 25, was arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery in the Town of Fishkill which occurred on Feb. 26, said Capt. John Watterson.
Johnson was arrested following a three-month investigation into the robbery of the Gulf gas station on Route 9D in Fishkill, said Watterson.
He is accused of robbing the store of $300 using a back handgun, which has not been recovered, he added.
Johnson has been charged with felony robbery and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the City of Beacon Police.
