4-Year-Old Boy Hit By Car In Poughkeepsie Remains In Critical Condition

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – A 4-year-old boy remains in critical condition after a car accident Thursday night in Poughkeepsie, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The accident happened about 5 p.m. on Mansion Street as the boy was playing with a sibling, the Journal said.

An 85-year-old man was driving the vehicle that hit the boy, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The driver has been cooperating with police, and no charges are currently being brought against him, the Journal noted.
