Thomas P. Papamitoukas, 75, Of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Thomas P. Papamitoukas, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, Feb.6. He was 75.

Papamitoukas owned and operated Macedonia Deli-Restaurant in Poughkeepsie with his wife for 10 years. He was the founder of TPP General & Electrical Contractors, also in Poughkeepsie, which his sons continue to own and operate. 

He was a member of the Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church, in which he involved himself with the parish council, operations committee, numerous youth groups and volunteered his craft as an electrician for both his church and the Hellenic Festival for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Andriana M. Papamitoukas; his sons, Peter T. Papamitoukas and Anthony T. Papamitoukas and his fiancée Melissa Maiorana; his granddaughter, Andriana Louise Papamitoukas; his sister Anna Papamitoukas of Thessaloniki, Greece; nephew and niece Panagiotis and Emi Papamitoukas of Thessaloniki; and numerous loved cousins, nephews, nieces and godchildren.

He was preceded by his brother, Basil T. Papamitoukas of Thessaloniki.
