Lilian Lombardi, 57, Of Wappingers Falls, Longtime Stop & Shop Employee

Lilian C. Lombardi, a Wappingers Falls resident for more than two decades, died Tuesday, March 21, at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel. She was 57.

Lombardi was a former resident of Sleepy Hollow.

She was born in the Philippines to Ladenia (Aceron) Castrence and the late Jose Castrence.

Lombardi had been employed at the Stop & Shop in Poughkeepsie for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Vincenzo; three daughters, Jinky Castrence, Sogene Lombardi, and Neilen-May (Kevin) Kabrick; two granddaughters, Aicy and Charleen; her mother, Ladenia Castrence; siblings, Myra (Ricardo) de Ausen, Gimina Timpug, Jose (Erna) Castrence, Jr., Roger Castrence, Orly Castrence, Janet Castrence, Chuna (Rodante) Belmonte, and Ellen (JoJo) Dait; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces; and one great-nephew.

Lombardi was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph “Mamang” Castrence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Burial will be at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
