BEACON, N.Y. – Joann Romano of Beacon died Thursday, March 31, at Elant at Fishkill. She was 75.
Romano was born Jan. 19, 1941, in the Bronx to Joseph and Gertrude Mesnick Perrone. She retired as the manager of the I-84 Diner in Fishkill.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Vincent, and sister-in-law Rosemarie Milani.
Romano is survived by six children, Rosemarie Echandy and husband Jose, Anthony Pedro and his wife Rose of Chester, David Pedro and his wife Maxine of Livingston Manor, Debbie Clark and her husband Tom of Pennsylvania, George Pedro and his wife Lisa of Florida, Joseph Pedro and his wife Susan of Mount Hope; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, George Perrone of Las Vegas; two sisters, Janice Fenty of Elmsford and Charlene Terenghi; a brother-in-law Joseph Romano of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private and at the family's convenience.
Arrangements will be handled by Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Ave., Beacon.
