His love for family was the center of his life. His other love was hunting. He was an excellent marksman. He shot a pope and young class buck and held the Dutchess county record for several years. He passed this tradition on to his grandson, where they hunted together for many years, making a very special bond. He was an entrepreneur and was a master finished carpenter.
