POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Florence Eleanor Hassinger Trogisch, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Friday, Feb. 5. She was 96.
Trogisch retired from Herman's Nursery after many years as an administrative assistant.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Gary Trogisch and his wife Cindy of Washington, D.C., and Lee Alan Trogisch of Newburgh; her daughter, Carol Schmader and husband Gary of Pleasant Valley; grandchildren Cynthia Teixeira and husband Christopher of Coventry, R.I., Erik Trogisch of San Diego, Alexandra Trogisch of White Plains, Sara Schmader of Taylor, Pa., Olivia Trogisch of Pleasant Valley, and Stefan Trogisch of Kittery, Maine; a great-grandchild, Joaquin Christopher Teixeira of Coventry, R.I.; a godchild, Stephanie Quinn of Rockford, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Zorn Hassinger; her brothers, William, Edward, and Rudolph; and her husband, Richard E. Trogisch.
Calling hours will be Monday, Feb. 8, from 4-7 p.m. at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
