Board Chairman Michael Kaplowitz made the comments last week as the mayor of Mount Pleasant expressed concern about the length of time needed to review the project, the News said.

The proposed North 60 project would see a three million square-feet bioscience center built north of Hospital Road, reported the Examiner News.

Developer Fareri Associates needs a lease from the county to begin building, the News noted.
