Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Poughkeepsie

The City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department is working a structure fire at 99 Hooker Ave., in which at least one person has been injured around 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to fire officials.

Officials are also reporting the rescue of two people from the second floor. 

Police are asking motorists and others to avoid the area at this time. At least part of Hooker Avenue is closed in the vicinity of the fire.
