DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -  A registered female sex offender accused of attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl has reported an address change in Dutchess County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Monday to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 52-year-old Kelly Cash, who has moved into an apartment on Snow Terrace in Poughkeepsie.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Cash as a level two threat, which means she is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Cash had sexual intercourse and contact with her 10-year-old victim in August 2002. She was arrested by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and sentenced to six years in state prison on an attempted rape charge in September 2005. Cash is now under the jurisdiction of the Poughkeepsie Town Police Department.

Further info on Cash from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services can be accessed after entering the code in the CAPTCHA box found by clicking here.
