POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Volunteers from the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross have joined the people of the Southeast as they continue to clean up from Hurricane Matthew, according to Time Warner Cable News.

Two volunteers from the local chapter of the Red Cross traveled over the weekend from Poughkeepsie to South Carolina in an Emergency Response Vehicle, according to Time Warner Cable News, which reported that about 20 local Red Cross volunteers were already aiding cleanup efforts in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
