Fifth Annual Riverkeeper Sweep Goes Through Dutchess

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. — The Beekman Library in Hopewell Junction released a reminder about Saturday's Riverkeeper Sweep, the fifth annual day of service for communities along the Hudson River.

Riverkeeper celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and the Sweep will feature more than 100 projects across the Hudson Valley.

The Sweep features volunteers and community partners working along the shoreline, cleaning debris and planting trees and native grass.
