The event runs from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the park, at Mill and Clover streets, to begin work and continue around the area to clear any litter that may possibly enter the waterways of the Fallkill.

On the day of the event volunteers will be needed to sign people in, pick up litter, sort trash and recyclables, and record all collection data. Volunteers will be required to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the event for assignments and to complete waivers.

Participants should be sure to wear sturdy shoes, layers of clothing that they are willing to get dirty, sunscreen and a hat. Volunteers will also need to bring their own water or drinks.
