After more than 12 years protecting the residents of East Fishkill, Sgt. Brian Tarpey of the East Fishkill Police Department is calling it a career.
Tarpey officially retired on Friday, Oct. 6th, after an injury prevented him from returning to duty. He served the Town of East Fishkill since December of 2005, including a temporary assignment with the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. He was promoted to sergeant in 2014.
On their Facebook page, the department wished Tarpey: "A long, healthy and happy retirement. Our Best Wishes going forward."
