Dutchess County Offers Emergency Preparedness Training

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Want to know what to do in case of a disaster?: Then get yourself to Millerton this Tuesday, March 28.

Dutchess County will be offering free training in emergency preparedness at the NorthEast Millerton Library Annex on Tuesday, March 28.

The Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response will be holding a free, emergency preparedness training session from 7-9 p.m. at the NorthEast-Millerton Library Annex, 28 Century Blvd.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Also participating in the program are members of the county’s Department of Behavioral and Community Health Medical Reserve Corps and Animal Response Team.

Each trainee will receive a free Citizen Preparedness Corps Response Starter Kit.
