BEACON, N.Y. -- The Howard Public Library in Beacon will host a program on how to grow and use herbs on Wednesday, June 15.
Chris Ferrero, Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County Master Gardner, will teach guests how to grow and use 12 easy herbs.
The culinary and ornamental value of herbs make them candidates for kitchen gardens, perennial borders, vegetable plots and all sizes and types of containers, according to Ferrero.
This program is free and no registration is required. It starts at 2 p.m.
Call the library at (845)-831-1134 for additional information.
The library is at 313 Main St., Beacon.
