BEACON, N.Y. -- Denning's Point Distillery is hosting a release party for its Beacon Bourbon on Saturday, Sept. 3.
The local business distilled, barrels and bottles the bourbon on premise in Beacon. It is also made from New York grains -- corn, rye and barley mash -- and aged in American oak barrels.
In addition to the bourbon tasting, the celebration will feature $5 artisanal cocktails. Attendees can also score a free Beacon Bourbon hat, with the purchase of two or more bottles of the new bourbon, while supplies last.
From 3-6 p.m., folks can enjoy the music of the Blue in Green Jazz Quartet. You can sample their music here.
Rhythm Rising will perform live original Latin, Brazilian, jazz and world music from 6-9 p.m. The band features Victor Catanzaro on vibes, Doug Correllus on piano, Ronny Figueroa on bass, and Tomas Martin Lopez on Timbales.The release party will run from 1-9 p.m. Denning's Point Distillery is located at 10 North Chestnut St., in Beacon.
